Battery Tray ?

Post by Bucolic » Wed Jan 21, 2015 7:10 pm

Does anyone have a picture of a "Battery Tray"? I don't have one and I'd like to make one that will work properly but I don't have a clue what it's supposed to look like or how it functions.

I think it is a plastic tray the batteries set on, it has 2 holes on the floor part spaced apart with rubber drain tubes

They are less than $30 with the drain tubes on ebay. You really seem to like to torture youself.

Well, I thought about all the advice I was given and decided I could make one that would work just fine.

Tray is not bolted to the bottom of the battery compartment. Each half is bolted to the welded tabs.

I think you did a good job, I like it better than the original.
