Anyone need a Factory hard top ?

I know a guy who wants to sell one...It is complete and comes in about 8 pieces and it has a large one piece roof...What is a fair price ?

I don't blame you. I think they are ugly and a pain to install and remove.

The solid one peace hard top makes a great trailer cover. I did this several years ago and looks great. See my posting back in the day.

Last week, I saw one at Surplus City in Oroville, Calif.
They still have some m151 stuff there.
When I asked about it and cost, I was told the top comes as-is and $1,000.00.
Nope, it can sit there for another 10 years.

They are worth what scrap metal prices are going for. ALUM DIRTY about $0.70 a pound or ALUM clean (No foreign material) about $0.80 a pound. I see people list them for about 1K$ but end up taking to the scraping yard. I believe the whole system weighs less than 150 pounds + / -, including the doors. Maybe another 50 pounds + / -.

I've got one that I'd like to give away. One of the glasses is cracked but otherwise its original. Local pickup only.

With one installed on the mutt, I think the noise level is greatly increased inside the mutt, which if you don't have hearing aids, you will.But my memory could be defective!
