Unique roll bar/weapon storage
I bought a M151A2 three years ago which came out of Canada. Made in 1976 it went to the Canadian army for 15 years and then civilian service. I was told it was used at Vancouver for movies/TV shows. It has a single roll bar behind the two front seats with clips to hold 2 M-16s and 5 LAWs rocket launchers. My question is were these Canadian military modifications or something done by the movie/TV people.

That would most likely be the movie people or civilian. The Canadian ROPS was pretty similar to the American version.

I replied to your other post regarding the Data Plate. I mentioned some of the Canadian Mods. I have a restored Canadian M151A2.TimK.43mb wrote:I bought a M151A2 three years ago which came out of Canada. Made in 1976 it went to the Canadian army for 15 years and then civilian service. If can post up or email me some pictures, I can verify what is legit, and what is "Hollywood".
