Re: It's alive!!
Beautiful !!
Great work Ernie, certainly a way to ride in luxury back then , and is still super comfortable today today !!!!
With plenty of leg room in the back, on that lazy boy sofa type seat.
That must have been very well kept all these years since the War !!
Do you have any history on it, and where it came from ?
Best Regards,
Ray

Re: It's alive!!
Hi Ray
I tell people it is a real factory staff car, sort of.........
The was a guy not too far from me that bought surplus and never sold anything.
At the auction in the late 80s he had quite a few contract staff cars, Ford, Chevy and Plymouths
All rusted beyond salvage.
What i did manage to get off of one thought is all the correct contract parts to convert my 1941 Plymouth to a contract staff car
Kinda like a new body on a jeep

Hi Ernie
the Plymouth looks great . you didn't by any chance get any extra parts off the scrap staff cars ? I have an original contract 41 Plymouth to restore and it is missing the taillight plinths
