FS 4 Plymouth Staff car TIRES & rims NEW 6.00X16
These TIRES and rims (painted in 33070 semigloss) were purchased for an original GI green Plymouth staff car project from dry, sunny, mostly rust-free, New Mexico. The car was donated without the new tires and rims to the National Museum of Atomic Energy (before it was ever restored) as an example of the vehicle that was used to drive the "pits" for the A-bomb that was assembled at the Stallion Range, White Sands Proving Grounds, New Mexico. The vehicle was part of the donation of the "Oppenheimer Limo" that was discovered in a junk yard in Western NM and also donated to the Museum at the same time. Both vehicles are on display as part of the first A-bomb detonation in New Mexico leading to the end of WWII.

Re: FS 4 Plymouth Staff car TIRES & rims NEW 6.00X16
Hello,
I'm looking for 4 tires for my 1940 Plymouth and I live in the Sacramento, California area. (95624 zip) What would the freight cost be to ship them and are they safe to drive on the highway?
Thanks,
David

If it's not too inconvenient the rims with tires are fine, and the shipping isn't too expensive. If you're going up to Portland on Highway 99 or I-5, I can meet you at the Elk Grove Blvd. exit for pickup.
Thank You'

Hello DaninNM,
Yes, I'm very interested in the tires. Was waiting to see if you were able to arrange a drop off date after the convention. If you can arrange that, will meet off I-5 or Highway 99 by the Elk Grove Blvd exit. If arrangements cannot be made you can ship them for $350.
If no delivery date, PM me for my address and payment.
Thank you'
