Plymouth Staff Car list
I was thinking, there is no list of Plymouth owners.
How about chiming in on your year and a pic, I think it would be fun!

Yes Billy, it can be bought. I'll never get around to fixing it. I also have a parts car for it. It's located in central Montana though.

Re: Plymouth Staff Car list
They were 6.00 X16 FIrestone Knobby tire, something like $175USD a piece. They were biased ply, just like the saw tooth front tires, so the first few miles were a little bumpy haha.
Here is an image showing the tread pattern on the car.
Our shop is located on a long dirt lane, and most of the events we attend require running on some muddy/uneven surfaces. The tires were not too noisy.
Hope this helps,
Brian

Ernie,
Do you have any good pictures of the taillights and taillight stands on your car? My car on the ranch is missing those parts.
Greg

Re: Plymouth Staff Car list
AVG,
My dad drove a staff car for Colonels in WWII. I now have a 1940 Plymouth Deluxe and want to paint it the correct Olive Drab for that year or WWII era. Any help with name, color, paint codes, manufacturer, etc., would be 'Greatly appreciated'. From articles and discussion groups, these cars were a darker green than other decades. Your thoughts or suggestions?
Best Regards,
War Horse
