The 230 W143 ceased production in January 1941, according to most sources, though the production dates and figures recorded by M-B in those days always refer to chassis production. Bodies may have been mounted a bit later. Still, yours must be one of the last to have been produced.
Its successor (though they were in production simultaneously for a few years), the 230 W153, ceased production officially in 1943 (chassis, obviously), but bodies continued to be mounted, and cars delivered, up to February 1944.
