Thank you. Don't know how many days (in hours) I have spent in front of the wire wheel cleaning

Oil lines connected:
Repro manifold kit from Ron. Not sure if I like the plugs. Only thing I could find locally.
Guess I will but more period looking plugs later:

Nice work Henrik. I'd think that Icelandic import taxes would count for the fact that you have cleaned up and saved every original part you can.
Did you ever find any more traces of Dodge VC trucks on Iceland? What happened to that block, then?

Re: GPW 51368 1942 Restoration in Iceland
Thanks guys. Yes, import tax into Iceland is high. I try to save all bolts but use new nuts
and lock washers. Almost all of the parts in the starter and genny used is NOS.
Still did not find a VC truck here. Problem is that most military jeeps and trucks here were
heavily modified after the war. Found a 1/2 ton carryall recently. Had a large bus body
on it, Reo engine, etc etc. Could not really tell it was a Dodge WC unless you crawl under
it and look at frame. I still have the T202 VC engine. Might restore it and display as is.

I tried too tell a buddy who was assembling his transfer case that he had to put on some of the ebake stuff before he put on the drum...but he said he could get that bolt in....but he found he had to take the drum off....we only make that mistake once...

Yes Drum had to come off. And I ended up replacing it with another one I have which is
in better condition. Will not make this mistake again
