Hej, Looks like a good starting point. You will be busy during the long nights.

What a great find Tom, was it Canadian contract ? as it was manufactured two days before mine, . Please keep us posted on this one and is there an engine with it ?

It might be a Marine Contract.

The Canadian Contract info will be on the data plates if it is Canadian. The USMC left the box blank vs. stamping QMC with no special data plate like the Canadian Contracts.

Note the hole for the Dyneto wiring on the left side between the cowl and fender.

Peter, an interesting point on the hole for the Dyneto wiring. My Canadian contract jeep has one in exactly the same place which is for the drivers side electric wiper. :?: This was standard on CDLV 242 jeeps.

Looks like you have one original solid disk type wheel. 8) Hope you have fun restoring it.
