I just love photos like this, and with a capstan winch. Braden ? What are the plans for the jeep ?

Thanks for sharing. Can we see more photos of this jeep please?

Im particularly interested to see another (assuming it is GPW119911) GPW which is pre type 2 suppression that has tooth washers in several places!

If you are able to check, what about the fenders to grill, do they have tooth washers please?

Thanks again,
Ian.

Aren't we all?

If it were mine I would perform a very minimal restoration (brakes, if needed...tune up, etc) leaving it in this overall condition. Again, it's a true survivor. Did you purchase it from Frank Buck?

Attached are more pictures of the Jeep. Frank Buck owns the Jeep, I am his son and we plan to continue preserving the Jeep. The Capstan winch is a Blaw Knox. Thanks.

What is strange is the bright finish of the cylinder head, it appears to be aluminum.

I can see contrast between the surface rust and lighter paint on the head now that you mention it.

This gets cooler and cooler with each picture. This thing is a fantastic piece of living history.
