It all started in my little garage, quite a challenge: 50cm at the left side and 0 cm at the right...
So I started to dismantle few elements :
Radiator grill:
Radiator:
Right wing:
Hood:
Left wing:
No light and no space but enjoying the first steps of the restoration !

Hello Frank,
The only number I have on my jeep is the body serial number: 78775
All the pates plates have disappeared.
As you will see on my future posts, there is a lot of work to be performed on the body and the frame...

From this step it was clear that the frame was not in a good shape...
It has been repaired on at least three points and not by a professional...

Re: 1942 MB
After sandblasting we started by the rear traverse:
Then by cutting the right rail previously "repaired" by my predecessor:
Manufacturing, fitting and welding of the new part:
And lot of other little thing
Still to repair: all the front part of the frame.

Re: 1942 MB
Maybe someone can help me!
As I said previously, I only have the body serial number and I was wondering if it is possible to deduce the frame serial number.
Best regards !
