1944 Willys MB.
Sold from the Norwegian Army in 1986. Same owner since 1986 till I bought it two weeks ago.
It is in very good shape and kept in it`s Norwegian spec.

Re: 1944 Willys MB
lovely, very similar to my Norwegian Willys 44. They looked after them and it certainly looks pretty clean.

I'm OD with envy, even if it does have GPW pedals.
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?
Alone cannot you it resist!

Re: 1944 Willys MB
Hope you don't mind some critic you list as 1944 but the three bolt spare wheel carrier and no support foot indicate pre Oct 1943? Is there a bolt hole in the rear cross member to take the support? Are the toe board gussets square type 1 or rounded type 2? (Jan 44 change). June 44 the pedal style changed from cast that you have to the flat pressed type. May 44 saw the addition of the small shipping plate which there are no signs off either (These dates are according to John Farley's book)
But i suppose as it was Norwegian Army looked after they may have swapped a few things around to keep it running/serviceable. Tube looks in excellent shape, beautiful jeep enjoy.

Re: 1944 Willys MB
A little update on the details:
S/N Place it as a late Dec 1944.
Body s/n is 75XXX so that is a June 44 body. Maybe one of the last jeeps With the Pull-push light switch.
This jeep was rebuild at Esslingen and got a New Dod of 18-2-1952.
It has a LOT of cool details and changes made during its +70 year of action. I love this more for every time I use it. Today it helped me push the New Project viewtopic.php?f=96&t=283027into the garage.
