Thanks Nick,
Still trying to find a good 45 gas can and waiting for a good original combat rim and tyre to come along, don't think the surplus jeeps had a spare tyre either? I nearly won some lovel bumperettes the other day but was outbid sadly so got to wait for another set, also won an original radio box last week and will purchase the repro conduit and cable from Paolo when I get a chance!

Hey Matt
Don't forget if your looking for the spare wheel disc you need the one with four holes. Wheels do turn up from time to time so hang on mate

Hey Matt
Do you happen to have a copy of John Farleys 'Standardised Wartime Jeep 2 ? If you do then have a look at page 239. And You'll see a nice picture of the 4 hole disc. If you don't have the Blue Book. Then you'll just have to use your imagination  It has the two larger holes for the studs and then two smaller holes between them. Oh and they are quite difficult to find  in fact I need a couple for my other fords
good luck.
regards Nick

Ah, I don't have the book but I see what you mean now, I went to Dallas jeeps the other day and had a look round and saw one of those 4 hole discs on one of their 45 GPW's, don't recall ever seeing one for sale on ebay etc. so far! thats another thing to find :(

£196, they were very good but I have to draw a line occasionally, they went around the time I bought the wheels and canvas etc so couldn't really be spending that sort of money.... I saw a set of F marked rear seat hooks went for $250 (I think) odd on American ebay, thats nuts, I was very lucky to have been given an original set by a generous UK parts dealer which was very kind of them, funny thing is you cant see the F once they're fitted!

Looks like a toy from Underneath! Nearly completed 500 miles and ready for first oil change, MOT passed to day but not required.

Someone told me at a show once if you're doing over 350 miles in a jeep a year you're doing too many!
