Hi Ian,
Todd Haley owns this spot welder.About the size of a commercial battery charger.I'll get more data next time I'm there.I can tell you it is 230V ac(input)-the B+ lead has the trigger, the other of course ground...a one-man show for most work but we teamed for some tricky areas. Here are a few pics of it for now,,,

G'day Ralph.

Thanks for the insight into it and whatever info you can glean from Todd and the machine would be wonderful. I am going to be at a similar stage of replacing a front floor in the next year or 2 (fingers crossed!!!), so would be keen to see what equipment it is, as your pictorial has been another wonderful guide!

On a side note, and maybe better for a PM, those stamps never made it across the pond if you sent them?

Ian.

As the front floor is welded and spotted,we fitted the first of the hat channels...two floor bolts helped position it.
Image
Plug and seam welds get it into place. The transmission hump-to-new floor butt welds are grinded/sanded.The good fit and economy of the weld bead made it easier.
Image
Here you can see the new floor welded to the original toeboard as well as more hat channel work.

Finishing up under the passenger seat.Notice the wrap up into the hump area.
Image
This is also under the passenger seat,You can see the muffler hanger fixture.Sorry for the fuzzy pics

Ralph, the new hat channels look great. Did you put wood or any other filler in them prior to installation? Or any rust preventative on the underside? Paul

Primed the underside of the hats with weld-through primer.Used Poplar for the filler/stiffener.Painted it with some kind of marine varnish...

Using marine varnish sounds like a great plan Ralph. The next 73 years of your jeep's life should be a lot more protected than the first 73, those hat channels will be solid for a long time :)

Completed and painted at Todd's.I took to my garage a well-restored ACM1 tub.
Image
Starting the wiring harness and under dash work, set up on the rotisserie again.
Image
The firewall harness terminal block, the oil can bracket, the horn mounting bracket, and the harness clamp (at the terminal block) have nuts/washers which must be installed before the cardboard/insulation can be attached.
Image
Image
The push-pull main light switch(WOF NOS) I wired first with harness loose for plenty of slack.

Ralph, great shots of the original tinning. A lot easier to use the old stuff than have to do the tinning over again, right? Lots of good work here, well done!
