Congrats on a very nice find!! Looks a heck of a lot better than many I've seen lately around here in Central NY where rust has usually eaten them alive.........

Woaw, what a beautiful find !
As your Jeep is unrestored, would you please answer to the following questions :
- What are the date code indicated on the generator and the distributor ?
- What kind of pulley on the generator ? molded or stamped ?
- Is there any marking on the gerrycan bracket ? 42B22590 or D66675 ?
- Is there any date code on your windshield glasses ?
- What is the reference on the fuel filter bracket ? 1504212 or 1595360
- What is the material of the radiator's material ? copper or steel ?
- How many spring on the front springs ? I count 11 springs on the rear springs, am I correct ?

Thanks for your patience.
Willys MB 399579 - December 44
Register number (I've found it ! ) 20661416 S
Nickname "Peggy" (I've found it too !!!)

I will print out these questions and try to answer them - you may need to be patient, but I will gather as much info as I can. One thing - the glass isn't original, so I regret unmarked. Oh, and the radiator is also a replacement.

It is also worth contacting Marie-Christine - she has an unrestored Willys 285 numbers from mine
