Re: my new MB 90% original ww2
Hello the jeepers (and over)
I am on holidays and having worked on my trailer, I attacked the jeep.
I put down the lid of gearbox, for controle and defused the breech.
It is ds a relative good state and seems to have been maintained well !

Just discovered this tread...how's the jeep coming along? Any luck finding bar codes for units that landed after D-Day +14?

Re: my new MB 90% original ww2
Good evening to all,
Too much not having time recently to work on the jeep, I have finally was able to put back me to it.
Quite a lot of engine parts were cleaned and repainted.
The gas pump, the dynamo, oil pum, are redone.
I have just discovered a new bullet hole:

Re: my new MB 90% original ww2
Hi Guillaume, I am new to G503. I am in the early stages of looking for a good jeep so I have little to contribute. However I was in the Brigade of Guards in the British Army and we are very proud of our colours which we call "Blue Red Blue". All Guardsmen today wear a flash on thier right sleeve of their combat uniform that is identical to the paintwork on your jeep. Could this be the unit indicated on your jeep?

Hy
My jeep jeep did not belong to the English army, quite its markings are all US and the TQM code seems to be: green red green.

Thanks,
Dave
