Hi everybody !
At the moment, I am motivated to re-Attack the restoration, then let's go !
I dismantled the rear transmission:
The tripod it's in very good conditions
(note the red paint around the lubricator)
Original parts found: (but it was built by french factory)
This tripod was very used:
After quickly wash:
I have only just realized that the numbers it lustress blue appeared:
And painting globes of headlights:

Hi everybody.
After long months of silence, i finally got back to the jeep.
I put down the gearboxes and straightened the crosses gearboxes.
And disassembled gearboxes.

Re: my new MB 90% original ww2
I believe the gear box serial number is the date of the built of the box, "D" is for the forth month of the year , "44" the year, so the box should be dated of April 1944. the insideof the gear box looks pretty nice! maybe the first reverse pinion is appear dammaged.
Is there any play on the bearing seats Front and rear of the gera box?
