Hi Frank - I have used your list of 1st contract jeeps by serial number and changed it around to be a list by DOD. Have a look at what happens to the list!!!! the numbers are completely all over the place

GPW # 12375, original brass data plates, matching frame, can't retrieve hood numbers, post war engine. It has a lot of script bolts and equip. , located in Alice Texas, purchased outside of San Antonio Texas, purchased after the war by original family, used as a ranch and hunting jeep all its life.
