Hi Guys,
It is still underway... alot of things have slowed me down (incloudikng buying my first house), but we are working on it- some time in photoshopping some pages of the parts list which have oil stains on them as they wont copy clear enough for a master, so need to be scanned (currently done) and cleaned up.
Will keep you up to date as we progress.
Cheers,
Ian.

Re: GPW 1st contract PARTS LIST. Interest sought in reproduc
Hi all,'
Since my dad passed away in 2012 from a brain tumour, this project has stopped. I no longer have the time to work on this and as such, nothing has been done. Given dad was a book printer and willing to do the photoshopping artwork with the original in hand to make sure info/pics werent distorted, you can also see why this has stopped.
I have a scan of it, oil stains and all he made initially. This post has reminded me of the attempt to make this manual available and I shall do something about that in the near future with the scan. Likely forward to jeepdraw to publish. When this/whatever progress happens I shall let you know.
Apologies everyone.
Cheers,
Ian

Re: GPW 1st contract PARTS LIST. Interest sought in reproduc
Ian,
I'm sorry about your dad's passing. May he rest in peace. If I can help with any of the work, I would be glad to do so. I'm a photographer and artist and work with Photoshop, so I could do something. And my daughter is a graphic designer and lives in Photoshop all day long, so any problems, I could get help with. I have GPW 1674 and would be very interested in getting something done on this project.
Let me know.
John

Hi John,
Thank you for your kind words.
I shall dig out the CD (got to find it now!) and get the files to you to work your magic on! Feel free to remind me by message if you don't hear from me in the coming weeks.
Cheers,
Ian

Unfortunately not, I had a reply from Ian a few months ago when I asked the same question. I think there would be some unique and interesting information in the 1st contract list.
Ford GPW 6008, in slow process of restoration.
