This is actually pretty cool. It was offering rides by me (Lake County, CA) last weekend. The weather was crappy so I didn't want to fork over the $70. It was great seeing and hearing it fly right over my house though.

Hey Michael, nice you brought this up.

If you didn't get a ride in this classic, you missed out. Four of us got together for the ride and it was so neat. That plane is like a brand new machine despite having been built in 1926. Great flight! The three co-pilots were Ernie Ongaro, Paul Fitzgerald and Dr. Keith Palmer. Paul wanted to fly upside down but they said they needed another motor to do that. :?

Took my three daughters for a ride in that tri-motor in 2008!
My Grandfather flew them for S.A.F.E. Airlines out of Dallas, then for TWA.

That thing levitated with that load? Impressive!
