I'm Steve, I'm new to this site. My GP is serial #10109. I have had this GP for about 17 years. It originally came from New York state around Pine Camp NY. I will need some parts to get it back up into shape. I would have done it before now but was waiting for the price of parts to go up before I started. It stops, it goes, but not necessarily on the same day.

Hi Steve,

Again welcome to the G503. Can you post a photo of the frame serial number stamping ? I take it that there is no serial number data plate. What is the motor and it's serial number ? These questions help the other GP owner to understand what they own. Thanks in advance for any data that you can provide.

Well, I need hood blocks, carb linkage, air cleaner, correct distributor and housing 1 blackout marker light maybe to start. I have a new(15 year old) rear body panel that I have to put on the jeep. The jeep came with 2 engines.

Hi Steve, Yes welcome to the GP group. Having a spare engine, you could always sell it to offset the cost of parts you need. You probably already knew this but don't scrap anything GP. Someone is always looking for it. Best wishes; Leo

Tom,

Just a question and it is probably listed somewhere if I cared to read all, where were the GP's built - which plant?

The Rouge River plant in Dearborn Mi. made all of the GP's.
This is as per fordmotorhistory.com

I see the GP registry list is no longer online. Is it somewhere else? Doing a story and want the latest information on how many are registered.

It is run and compiled by DavidA now. It is the third sticky down on the GP site.
