GP engine head
Hello , after further inspection of my GP project i noticed that the engine head installed on it is a 8n or 9n tractor one( which didn't surprised me...) , but i was surprised to see that there is no casting on it for the water temp bulb (below the water pipe )....Only the GP head has this casting for the water temp bulb?

Not one hundred percent sure on this but if you find ahead for the 4 cylinder Ford truck 0NY or 1NY model number you should have the temp sensor hole in the casting also.

Ok , i see , so only the cars have it.Also i noticed that some tractor ones have the casting but the hole is not machined (9n?).Mine has no casting....otherwise i would have machined the hole and thread.

Re: GP engine head
The 1NY/0NY pick up truck heads are real rare at least around my part of the country. However there are a number of generator use engines out and about that had the GP cast heads on them. They might be your best source for a real GP head.
