NOS Ford GP Willys MA King Seeley Fuel Tank Sending Unit

Post by MATT » Wed Apr 27, 2016 6:03 pm

I found a box of NOS Ford GP fuel tank sending units. These will also work on the Bantam BRC and the Willys MA. These have been sitting on the shelf for over 60 years and are in dirty but new shape. There are two for sale and I am Asking $325 obo each.

Nice find. Yes, these are for GP and MA for King-Seeley gas gauge. However, not for BRC. The BRC sender was a 5-hole mount Stewart-Warner for Stewart-Warner gas gauge.

This one is identical to the original in my GP. The tag also says they are a GP part but you guys decide if it is right for you. I am not trying to mislead anyone. That is why I provided several large photos.

My GP is not here so I cannot get photographs but it does have the original gas tank and it has six holes (the sending unit is identical). I do have an extra ORIGINAL GP gas tank here and it also has six holes. George I have to respectfully disagree with you. I believe the sending unit is correct. If anyone is interested and thinks my price is too high make an offer like a few people have already done.....

Just a note, Brad Gates has a GP gas tank for sale on the board right now and it appears to also have six holes for the sending unit.

Matt...I think you misread. George does agree with you about the GP being correct. It is the Bantam that has the 5 holes. Sean.

I absolutely misread the post....  It sucks getting old! Sorry George, I am racing to get my daughter to the dentist on time and didn't read the post correctly. I will try and edit my post that this will not work for the Bantam BRC. Thanks Roger and Sean for bringing this to my attention.

George,
on the two BRC here in Italy, which you know very well ... on the one with the corrugated floor was mounted a King-Seeley sending unit, six holes mount, with two close holes of 6, facing towards the front of the vehicle.
The second one had the 5-hole like yours.

However great find Matt!

Are they GP marked? Found a Willys one that has the part number on.

Jack.
