Master cylinder upgrade

Post by major519 » Thu May 26, 2011 1:30 pm

Tried doing a search and no luck here.
I am interested in doing an upgrade of my master cylinder from the single stage to a double stage setup.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

I put on a dual Isuzu 25mm with remote fill that works wonderfully well.
Some very minor mods, no frame damage or cutting. Bracket manufacture that is a pretty tight fit & all parts except blue hose from reservoir to master cylinder were salvage from an Isuzu pickup (m/c) & L200 Mitsubishi (reservoir).
Parallax error makes things look closer than they actually are an there are enough clearances & it is pretty hard to get good shots.

artificer, what year Isuzu did your M/C come off of? I looked at some mid 90's P/U's and the lines came off the other side. Thanks

Late 80's to mid 90's just before they changed to the compact type m/c....did have booster but this is not needed for the jeep application just find a dust boot which fits properly.

Herm the Overdrive Guy has kit to put the 67-71 CJ5 master on an earlier vehicle. Contemplating this mod for my A1 as well.
