OCT MEETING
The Oct meeting will be at Rudy's on Oct 25th at Noon. Dutch treat on lunch. We will be talking about a trip to a gentleman's warehouse in Paris TN that has 110,000 square ft of WW2 Ordnance.
A couple items he has setting there....
In 1938, they have trials for a new 37mm anti tankgun. The M3 was finally adopted. The gun that ran against it was made by American Foundry. He has serial #5 there. It is the last one know to exist. 2 German WW2 Sub deckguns, 3 37mm, 2 57mm, 1919, M2 50, Bar, 2 recoilless rifles, 4 different mortars and several hundred rounds including 16". He has thousands of parts, that he has not even gotten pulled out since moving in there. There is too much to try to list in the newsletter, and I just hit a few high lights.
He does not do tours, but made a exception to our club. We'll rent a van, or Bobby might be able to get a small bus, and split cost. Will leave early on Sat. and return late on Sat.
