Another Good Job

Postby The Fireman » Wed Feb 14, 2007 8:06 am

Yo Tibor,

Thank you for posting these photo's. The upper one, I have not seen before, the other one of the jeepamb loading aboard ship has been published before by Hobo, but it was a different angle of the same jeep.

Again, keep up the good work and keep rocking the boat. I feel we need to break away from the "cookie cutter" jeep. It is nice, in my opinion, to see different jeeps in actual photos. There are probably more jeeps being restored to represent the 101 and 82 Airborne jeeps than were ever issued to either of these outfits.

Thanks again and keep digging, you come up with some truely unique photos and are kind enough to share them on the "G".

These photos never stop amazing me. :D

Notice the stars and the 1st Division tac mark.

Also that chevron pattern on the spare tire... chains on the back of the jeep being loaded.
