ORD 9 SNL G-136 - What's the best revision for M20?

Post by FUBAR » Thu Dec 21, 2017 3:17 am

Hi All

I use the August '45 revision of the ORD 9 SNL G-136 as the parts list for my M20, but it seems to be somewhat incomplete.

For example, there's a shaft, G136-56-18141 for sale on eBay, but it's not to be found in the index of my ORD 9.

Was a final, more complete version of the M8/M20 ORD 9 published post-war? If not, any suggestions as to how to identify mystery parts like the one I mentioned?

Thanks, -=BK

Hi Bill

I use the August 1945 version. I identified most of those oddball parts you are probably looking at on Ebay. That shaft you mention is an output shaft on the transfer case. Check out Page 187. The 'Find' option on Adobe is handy if you enter a short string of the numbers.

Thanks Darryl,

It sounds like you have a PDF of the ORD 9. I haven't been able to locate one.
Do you know where such a file can be found?

Hi Bill

I thought it was Portrayal Press, but looking at their website I can't see it there.

Let me check.

I have a Portrayal version of the August 1945 manual and don't see that PN in the Stock Number index. Page 187 shows an exploded output shaft assembly but stock numbers aren't listed, just part numbers and group numbers.

A PDF of this manual would be very handy!
