sherman tracks

Post by willy63 » Sat Jul 15, 2017 1:00 pm

hi guys

last year we started to work on new production of sherman tracks pads
after many test and work we finally arrived to something nice
they are manufactured here in our town in france with rubber from michelin company
most explanation are on my last topic
here the result
we started running test (all first test were done fiting few new pads on very used tracks )
for the moment test is good,we asked the rubber company to do a rubber who slide as more as possible on road,it's what they done and tank turn very easy without black mark on road .no damage on chevron .

Tracks look great Willy and from your last post seem to gave the correct pitch instead of just lying flat like the other tracks available. Do we need to re-use our wedge bolts and end connectors or will you be casting new ones? When will complete sets be available? Very interested!

hello guys

we are still testing them
But we tested few pad with this model of rubber and they were really really good
so we made 2 complete tracks for more test.
at the moment everything is perfect.
we made full new shoes, not using original parts, brushing etc ...
we not rubbering old shoes.
but our new shoes can be re rubbured by us when they will be worn.the rubber is moden and made from the company here so they can re rubber their pads
the rubber on chevron is a special rubber made especially for this use with all infos and first test result we had .
we have a price
for the moment we only do the pads but we work to made new connectors .
