It is not a USGI engine or block. It does not have the casting for any of the mounts for Stuart, Chaffee, or LVT. Transmission is also for a car and not useable. WISH it was a GI block at least, but.......Thanks for posting though!

Thanks for the clarification. Since he said military heads I thought it might be an armored engine that someone could use, but guess not. Oh well.

There are two versions of the GI Block. I used to hear my instructors tell of carboned up M-19 engines that were cleaned by reving them up and pouring rice into the carburetors. :wink:

I thought a water stream poured in a carb removed the carbon?

Generally, a hose full of water is easier to come by than rice unless you're at a wedding chapel. :wink:
