Yep Matt, looks like your right. I was mesmerized and jumped the gun on my post, before going back and reading the previous posts. Doing the build as a "advertisement piece" makes total sense. Working on final fitting of the dash panels. Also we've been mounting terminal lugs and running cable for the power

Finally got everything communicating. The TCM and ECM are working perfectly. No active codes from either unit. The speedometer is calibrated and the indicator LEDs for wait to start, check engine and check transmission are all functioning. I have my oldest cleaning up the wiring and building a harness. Things should move along much smoother now.

Here's the latest add-on...a roller tipped Micro Switch mounted to the transfer case that will be used to power up LEDs on the dash in order to show 2WD and 4WD position. It's probably a good thing to know before you romp down on the accelerator
