Wanted GPW engine #106837 UK

Post by wynnski » Sat Feb 17, 2018 11:37 am

Shot in the dark here. I am after engine GPW 106837 to go in its correct place. I think the odds are slightly better than winning the lottery

Hmm, are the odds better than winning the lottery if the original engine blew, was scrapped, and then melted down? Meaning, it's no longer in existence :o Guess that's why they call it odds, though, since there's a 50/50 chance that didn't happen and it is in fact out there awaiting to be placed in its original frame  Hopefully you find it! I'm still waiting for engine 108175 to knock on my door...

How long have you been waiting?

There is someone in the UK who has a shipment of engines coming in from the Philippines and as soon as they are in I can get the numbers off them

I've been waiting since August 2013 when I brought my GPW home. If you get all the engine numbers from him, definitely start a thread on here somewhere to list them. I know there are a ton of guys looking for their original engines on here! 8)

I’ve got a CJ block in the Jeep now, and a late 45’ replacement GPW block on the stand being rebuilt.
