Thanks guys! The first MB body to frame bolt set I’ll need is for the Type II suppression system. Ian and Ralph...sending you both a PM.

Thanks guys. Unfortunitely, that auction is for yearly every body bolt on the vehicle. I’m only looking for the body to frame bolts.

For that price I’ll just go with CAT bolts for the tub to frame since they have the correct think heads...I’ve sources the correct int/ext tooth washers that were used on the Type II Supression System.

I absolutely strive for accuracy Joel....been at this a long time now. Interesting that my Oct ‘44 MB’s original body to frame bolts were unmarked. This is why I’m not opposed to modifying some modern CAT bolts to suit this purpose. Luckily, most of all the other bolts I removed from this MB are reusable...just the body to frame bolts were a little rough.

CAT bolts discussion in this thread for anyone interested......

Hi Michael,

if still looking for, I have the kit made in past by Paolo Batisti in Italy. It is never opened and having all the different washers and PAL nuts (hope at least). I did plat use the kit for my 1945 MB however decided use the original ones although corroded.
The heads have modern marking, you must grind them away. I can add free some new repro 3/8" ones with "TR" marking but all having 24NF thread (instead 16NC of some correct).

Ladislav
