Good luck, more and more nobody wants to bother with them, plus its racing season and the guys with big block chevys pay more. However if you ever get to bucks county, on county line road, between 611 and Buselton Ave, machine shop on the West side knows what they are, They did 2 of mine back in 95. Think it was L&M machine. 20 years though, a lot could of changed.

Hi Remval14,

I sent you a PM. I'm in the same boat as you. I was curious who you ended up going with for your engine rebuild.

Thanks

I'm curious, too. Also, curious what just the machine shop portion of the bill was. I'm in the middle of rebuilding a GPW engine on my own and very close to needing a decent machine shop. My block is located in Lancaster, PA.

Give Daryl Bensinger at Bensinger Jeep a call. He is close to you and rebuilds engines all the time

Thanks, Ernie. Bensinger is actually my go-to guy, since he is so close - I even used him for my tranny/xfer rebuild a few years ago. I'm mainly looking for a decent machine shop first, as I'll be doing the rebuild myself, so looking for anyone with a good and reasonably priced experience working with one around the Lancaster, PA area. Of course, I'll most likely be getting any engine parts from Bensinger since he is so close and I can pick parts up to save on shipping
