ISO rear GPW #1 leaf (top leaf) spring

Post by reeg » Tue Apr 26, 2016 5:37 pm

As listed I need the very top leaf for the rear of a gpw. I'm guessing that would be the #1 spring.

Re: I have some NOS rear GPW #1 leaf (top leaf) spring

Post by M OMalley » Sun May 08, 2016 11:31 am

I have a few NOS front and rear #1 leafs... They have never been mounted and have perfect bushings...They were originally banded together in group of six with one 'Ford" tag attached to the group..The tags have since fallen apart .. They have been stored for 70 years and have lost most of their black paint. There is some rust but most is surface rust that can be cleaned off with steel wool.. They may have lost some of their original arc from laying flat in storage ..I also have some original rear spring center bolts . Some #2 leafs for the front and rear springs... and 1 original Ford (appears to be unused, front spring assembly)... All parts are original Ford... For the leafs, I'm asking $100. ea. plus shipping... I'll also consider offers... These are located in Westfield, Massachusetts . I will post pictures soon.. Mark O.

Mark: I will take 2 front #1 leafs and I will take the Ford front spring assembly.
I am not familiar with private message system but will try to figure it out. If you could PM me it would speed things up.
Thanks Carl Snow

I had a lot more replies than expected, both PMs and direct emails from people who know me.. My job has me very busy this week ... I'll try to get back to everyone who has already messaged me by May 17... Otherwise, please consider everything sold... Mark O
