WTB - Early GPW Bellhousing

Post by Old Pal » Thu Mar 17, 2016 4:34 pm

So based on this post:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=243102

I'm looking for a GPW bellhousing with no parking brake bolt hole. I have a later f marked primed, painted gray, and ready to go if you want to trade.

I'll be at tower park if you have one you want to bring.

I've checked several of my sources and I still can't find one.

Good day Old Pal. To make it simple can't you just weld/fill in the hole and grind it smooth.

That may be a possibility but it may be a little difficult to emulate the casting marks. Not to mention, cast can be a pain to weld.
