Re: Early MB Footman Loops Needed
Dave:
Found my footman loops, square shoulder & correct for the early MB Slat Grille (2-1/8" c-c hole spacing), at Brent Mullins, College Park, TX. He's on Ebay, under footman loops and is using 'Army Tank Guy' handle. Paid $6.00 each for them; delivery was super fast. There was a discount on the shipping for multiple loops.
Good luck.

Good idea Lou.... I called Brent and the only ones he has is with the shovel straps, but only $6 so what the heck. I will have a lot of little shovel
straps with buckle left over after removing the footman loops, so if anyone need the strap, just let me know and you got it.

I wouldn't count too heavily on salvaging those shovel straps. Unless you have a lady friend who is handy with a seam ripper and lots of time on her hands, you might find that it's quicker to just cut the straps with a shears and be done with it. Still, $6.00 isn't a bad price considering that the loops don't seem to available from any other source.
