Hi guys,
Does anyone have a spare 'Ford' filterette or cover to sell please? (Two-bolt type)...If fitted, the brass data-plate reads:
(ford) RADIO NOISE FILTER
GPW - 18960 - B3
.5 TO 30 MEGACYCLES, 35V.D.C.
CIRCUIT AMPERES
AMMETER________55
IGNITION_________10
P.R. MALLORY & CO. INC
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. U.S.A.
My June '42 Ford still has its original filterette in place, but the cover is missing...so I'm happy to buy either a whole unit, or just a cover (prefered)...
If you have one to sell, please give me a price that your happy to accept for it - Obviously, I'm happy to pay the USPS postage costs...
Thanks & best wishes - Guy.

Re: WTB a 'Ford' Filterette COVER
Hi Chuck,
Thats great sir!...thanks for posting the photo! (I'm still not sure how to do it...and as they say - 'a pictures worth a thousand words'!!!)
As I mentioned previously in my wanted add, I have the actual filterette-unit itself - but not the box/ cover for the top of it...
I'm sure someone must have one spare on a shelf somewhere?...I'm not even bothered about the data-plate being attached to it, as I can get one of those reproduced, I just need the cover! - (come on gents...please help!!!)
Regards - Guy.
