I have a question in regards to this part. Did ALL the ww2 holders have a id number on the bottom and are there 2 two hole on each end or just one on each end. Plus what is the ww2 metal gauge that was used thanks for any info provided

A-4123, the drawing for the WWII jeeps, shows two 3/4" holes 4-7/8 from the center on the floor of the bracket.

ID is shown on one of the pages in the above thread, page 3... I think.

The bottom and sides of the bracket are #13 (.0897) U.S.S. GA. and the U clips where the web straps attach are #18 (.0478) U.S.S. GA.. The modern equivalent is not quite the same thickness... but close.

The drawing is too large with too much detail to show but pieces of it are in the link above.
