WTB: speedometer driven gear

Post by uglyjeep » Mon Apr 28, 2014 5:05 pm

Hello,
I would like to buy a good speedometer driven gear from a late MB/GPW transfer case. Should be stamped SW 448033, and have 14 teeth. I would like to find one with good gear teeth, AND with the spiral oil groove in the upper part of the shaft.

Please send me a PM if you can help.

Thank you,
Daniel

If you still need one, try Mike Stopforth at 707-888-4603...he had some original take-outs. I have looked at them and they will be find as replacements....a bad drive gear would be a poor replacement though.

The gear looks like this:
