Mule Photo

Postby Chuck W. » Mon Mar 13, 2006 8:49 am

Here's a photo of my A2 with Litter Kit on display at the Heros Take Flight air show last weekend at Auburn/Opelika, AL airport. Good turnout of vehicles, think the count was 11, lots of neat war birds on display, too.

Hey Chuck,
Nice mule! This is Steve over in Gainesville with the M715. I recently sold my M715 and am looking for a mule. Know anybody selling? Thanks.

Steve, thanks! I can't believe you got rid of that great looking truck! I think Rod still has his A5 for sale, and there's one listed for sale on this board that sounds pretty good for the price.

Edisworking, I have been looking for the litter kit for 2 years, have about decided that, although shown in the TM, I don't think any were ever issued. So, I used the drawings to fab up the parts. The Mule will carry 4 liters with the seat removed and stowed, and the steering wheel tilted foward.

Sorry,

My A5 is not for sale anymore since I sold the 2.5 ton truck. I will keep the mule. It's easier to work on and takes less space.

Mule

Chuck,
Thanks for the info. I found one in Georgia. I will pick it up on Sunday. I must agree with Rod, they sure are easier to work on and haul around. The M715 was sold to a guy in New Jersey. Hope to see you somewhere soon.

Airborne,

Did you buy the mule from Ron Allred? or Cal Williams?

Rod,
I bought it from Cal Williams. Please don't tell me any bad news about that mule (ha ha--nervous). I had a choice between Cal's and one in TN (an A5). I really wanted the 4 wheel steer. Let me know if there are any major problems you know of. Cal seemed like a very nice guy. We are going to meet this weekend midway to complete the deal. Thanks.

Cal's a good friend on mine, I've known him for years. He will do you right.

Yes, and it's a Coot2, the new version with hydraulic drive. A very nice little vehicle - see www.coot2.com
I wish I had one! Or, a Mule :)
