I doubt if whoever bought it will ever get their money back out of it.

Curious on what you guys think the value of it is, We all agree 13800 is real high but if you had to put a number on it what would it be?

That's a very nice mule, but the mule market has been a little soft for the past few years and I would have thought $10k tops. I am EXTREMELY surprised by the winning bid. Hope this is a sign that the mule market is going back up. Maybe time to put poor Eeyore on the market, but he's not from "a gentleman's piece of property", so that may make a difference in what I can get.

Honestly. Maybe I'm delusional but, I think mine is worth at least that much. Not like I have any visions of selling it anytime soon as I'd just have to make another one. In my experience with all the vehicles in my life I think how much it takes to buy something comes down to several issues. How much I'm attached to it, How much time I have in it (usually LOTS) and maybe how much cash I have invested.

It seems to me that decent running mules seem to be in the $5-8k range. I would imagine though that a unit that is completely overhauled too to bottom using NOS parts would certainly take that number over $10k.
I know that my M274A5 project would certainly have me asking over 10k if I was to sell it.

Prices in Europe will be higher due to rarity - looking around £5000ish gets a runner that needs work - but all been missing rare parts for example decklid. I got mine for £6100 and it is in superb condition, appears to have not spent much time outside. I would not sell mine for anything less than £8000 as I haven't ever seen another in as good condition in Europe.

Final sales price of $13,900. Nice work if you can get it.

eBay doesn't care what the sales price was. On eBay motors vehicle sales, it is a flat $40 listing fee for 7 days. If it does not sell or meet reserve yu get one free relist. $500 deposit through Paypal, so they don't get monster fees as well. Rest is usually paid by money order or wire transfer, it is between the buyer and seller, not eBay on vehicle sales.

Mule in Calhoun, GA I live in Atlanta and never heard of them.

I was going to joke about this seller being able to sell ice to Eskimos, but then I saw his other listing...

I guess if you can sell a mule for $13,800, you can sell snowmobiltes in Georgia!
