Post by sergeant diessel » Fri Jun 16, 2017 10:13 am

I had some work done on my mule (a5) and a hole got drilled into the deck about .5 to 1 inch hole. How much roughly will it cost to fix it

A welding shop if able to get the mule in position to weld $75-$150 is only a guess.

You could try epoxy and fiberglass cloth on the bottom then fill from the top and sand/paint.

Find a buddy who can TIG weld and has access to a machine.
A job like this I would do for free but unfortunately I am all the way up here in Canada.

There is a body filler called Allmetal by USC. It looks just like aluminum, you can even tap it if you need to. You can get it a most auto paint suppliers.
