Time for Spring cleaning...Restorable four wheel steer M274A1 Mule project for sale. Originally manufactured as a four cylinder M274A1, could be restored as a two cylinder M274A4 with deck spacers. Includes a first series AO53 engine, mostly complete, turns freely and appears to be in good condition, but have not started it. Engine is missing cooling shroud, blower and some exhaust parts. Will include a second series AO53-1 engine core, was stored outside by P/O so in poor condition. Also have a two cylinder engine core (condition unknown) with new cylinders and pistons if you want to go that way, your choice of two or four cylinder engines. Has early foot basket with no mesh and clip for engine crank, early engine cage and early steering column. Two old and two new (same side) four cylinder mufflers included. Does have the early upper air cleaner housing, but has previously been repaired.

Mule has original wheels, tires are up and rolls freely. Tires are dated '65 and '66 Trans shifts OK but internal condition unknown. No data plates. Missing bed rails and deck covers but P/O fabricated some decent replacements out of aluminum that are usable until you find the originals. Includes seat back, cushions and fuel tank in not so good shape, the non-original (fiberglas?) tank in the photos goes with too. Magnesium deck has many small drilled holes, some cracks and non-original hardware but actually pretty straight. There is a hole where the steering brace attaches to the deck that will need to be repaired.
