I have recently joined this site and have found tons of great information and would like to say thank you to all those that have provided information and guidance.
I also thought I would introduce my Mule, from what I can tell it is an A4. It has previously had a 4 cyclinder engine (I can see the original holes for the offside exhaust), it has the early gearbox too but thankfully the starter from an A5!.
She runs a dream and starts on the button everytime. There is no alternator so I must remember to charge the battery.
My mule has two purposes, one I see the Mule as a solid investment and it is incredibly useful for me as a re-enactor, I can hide my stuff in side ammo crates and drive my gear from the carpark to my display, then display back to my van then straight into my Garage until the following year.
Some pics of her in action

Re: My M274A4
Some new pics of my Mule from 2017
I borrowed a tank to complement my M274A4
I somehow punctured my sump whilst transporting the Mule
I removed the exhaust to find this beauty of a repair!
So on with shiny new bits all thanks to Mr Emery
