I have found that the 4 cylinder mule uses a longer than normal sparkplug. The cylindrical part of the plug is quite a bit longer. Autolite #2247, MS35909-3 What kind of socket fits on them? Where can we source that socket? Just ran into this problem 15 minutes ago & thought that I'd ask people in the know.
Thanks!
Darryl

Re: 4 cylinder question of the day....
well, I'm not a 4-cylinder guy, as most of you know, but when I did have to remove the plugs from one, I modified a standard socket by cutting it in two and welding in an extension......worked for me!

Chuck what size is the socket you modified?
I see the 2247 Autolite plugs are now discontinued.

Autolite #2247 is listed in the books as having 13/16" hex wrench size.

I think 13/16" is correct for the 4-cylinder plugs. The 2-cylinder plugs are 7/8". That's my 2-cylinder plug wrench on the right.
