About Oil

I Use Rotella T1 30 WT for the Mule AO42 Engine below are the specs for this oil. On the Dip Stick it says Mil-L-2104C

This lists the revisions of Mil-L-2104C

Shell Rotella T1 Single Viscosity available for 10W, 30, 40 and 50

I use Rislone Products for Engine Oil Treatment

I understand that many Use MMO and I use it to prep a new Carb prior to install and in the Gas Tank along with Sea Foam. I only run Ethanol free fuel in all my small engines with 2 oz of Sta-Bil per 5 gallons.

Thanks.

I would start it once a month and let it run until the engine reaches operating temp and run another 5-10 minutes. If unable to drive then set it on jack stands and shift into gear so the drive-train also lubricates. Oil must reach operating temp to avoid engine deposits and sludge formation caused by short runs.

LO9-2320-213-12 states [Lubricating Oil internal Combustion Engine] OE 30 for Above + 32 degrees F, OE 10 for +40 to -10 degrees F and OES for 0 to -65 degrees F

Keep your Gas Tank full and add STA-BIL and MMO and Sea Foam for water absorption.

If temps drop to 0 degrees then close accordingly the Fan Lovers to help engine reach operating temp.

I just went on Google and typed in Alcohol-Free gas and it gave me several local locations to buy it.

A question for Muleman7:

you said "Keep your Gas Tank full and add STA-BIL and MMO and Sea Foam for water absorption.". So do you add ALL THREE of those, or just one of them? I kind of think that if you add the manufacturers' recommended doses of all three of them, there would be a pretty high percentage of additives and not much gasoline.

I add 2 oz of STA-BIL per 5 gallons of Non-Ethanol fuel, 3 oz of MMO to the gas tank and 3 oz of Sea Foam to the gas tank. Gas Tank capacity is 8 gallons but if it is going to sit for the winter I would fill it to the neck to eliminate air in the tank. Close the vent valve.
