Thanks for asking about attachment, I was thinking the same thing. Do you have any more photos? Nice looking, carries the flavor of the original on the driver's side.

The first pic shows how its attached. It will use existing holes. You made need to put bolts thru the pipe at the top where there are two hook mounts, make your own mount.

Hi Dave, can you photograph the brackets you made without the foot basket installed so we can get a clearer picture of what they look like. Any reason for not having the bar be continuous? Just asking for your thoughts.

Re: WTS passenger foot basket
Sure, I'll try to take some pics that will show brackets more clearly.
The gap was originally for the choke handle.
The idea for the hook type mounts was to be able to take out one bolt and remove the basket. The problem I found was, the hook brackets weren't stable enough. That's why I recommend bolts thru the basket to make it more sturdy. Of coarse, that goes to a 3 bolt removal to detach the basket. I have tried to come up mounts that use existing holes because I don't like drilling anymore holes in the deck, and still be quick to remove. I'm building my third basket now and they get better each time. I'm learning with each one. On this one I will be using the original type mounts that I got from John.

On this one I used heavy conduit. On the others I have used 11 gauge steel pipe.
This one is lighter weight and plenty strong, but I cant bend this light a pipe with out it kinking. I bought the pre-bent 90 degree angles to make this one.
sorry about the extra photos, I just haven't had the time. I will get them by the weekend.

Now that's what I was asking about! I like your bracket you made to avoid drilling holes. Good job!
