Anyone using Zinc additive in the oil?

Post by 13bravo » Thu Aug 14, 2014 6:26 pm

I was wondering if anyone is using zinc additives in the oil when they change their oil, especially since most of the newer oils no longer have it, and the mule does use a hydraulic flat tappet lifter. I know the valve spring pressures aren't much but anything to keep the wear to a minimum is a plus in my book.

Understand how system parts interact with one another. GOOD parts can then be established & the NOT GOOD problem/s part/s isolated for repair or replacement.
