After completing my rear, driver side drop gear replacement repair my son found me a "POS" 50 cal gun ("POS"......piece of S#@t......it was free) I wanted to mount on my mule. This project included mounting gun base mount kit, fabricating a pedistal and making the POS 50 cal look somewhat like a real weapon. I drove my mule in local 4th of July parade, attended local club "camp out", our towns classic car show and took it to the mountains to ride on summer snow mobile trails with my grand daughters.
yOU ASKED FOR PHOTO'S CHUCK, THESE ARE FOR YOU. REST AND RECOVER THIS TIME.
Gun mount base plate primed and painted ready to install.
Mount base plate installed.
Gun pedestal and pedestal socket pained and ready to install.
Gun pedestal assembly installed.
POS .50 cal primed and painted.
POS gun assembly before installation.
Gun mounted just in time for local 4th of July parade. Mule filly decked out at staging area.
Mule in parade formation.
Local club camp out in Crow, Oregon day after 4th of July parade. Lots of mountain trails, food and company. Tons of fun!
Camp club group photo at top of mountain trail.
One grand daughter on mule at Crescent Lake, Oregon resort. I put more miles on my mule on summer snow mobile trails here than my Jeep Wrangler at home in a month of driving.
I just could not resist a photo of our morning bacon cooking on an open fire.
July 20, mule at local classic car show and cruz. My Lady is of course keeping guard.
Well that's all folks! I hope you enjoyed the photo's of my summer so far.

Thanks, Steve, glad to see your mule is running well. Appreciate the photos! Your M2.......well, I'd call it a 50' gun, looks OK from 50 feet!
Here's a photo of one of two M1919 dummys that I built from steel and aluminum. Sold one, and kept this one, don't know what I am going to do with it yet.
Went to our club rally last Saturday, only one mule there and it was one I and resrtored several years ago for a friend.

Really great pictures,
Keep em coming.
Great looking Mule. Looks like you have some great trails to take runs on.
Beautiful country.
Can't wait to get mine running.
Thanks,
Dave
