My Stock A5 Mule has lost the synchros. Long overdue for an over-haul. Anyone close by done the Tranny... Problably a good time to replace a majority of seals and such on engine..

clutch cables do stretch over time....

I think it is the gears......unfortunately.. My mule was brand new when I got it...out of the box.

look for bend shifting rods not disengaging one set of gears completly....and ajust....it its been sitting along time get the trans hot...to move the gear oil around

The heading says Mule repair in PA. Your address says CA. If you're in Ca you're too far to run over and check it out. Look at where you shift lever goes from rev--1st and 2nd --3rd. If it won't go into Rev or 1st look at the 2nd 3rd bracket. It should be centered. It may need a little help to center.
